What is your booking protocol?
We are not currently accepting bookings.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check/money order, and PayPal. In some cases, a fee may apply if paying via PayPal. Check/money order is our preferred method.

My wedding is on a Saturday, and my wedding service proposal only adds up to $400. Can I still hire you?
Of course! If you would like Jennifer West to personally work your event, you will need to pay the difference in order to meet the $500 booking minimum (or recruit a couple more people to meet the minimum). There is currently no minimum to book Jessica.

How many events will you work on my wedding day?
We only accept one event per day, so you never have to stress about our showing up late or rushing off to another wedding. You are our #1 priority on your big day.

What does "camera-ready" mean?
This is not your everyday makeup, and we are not your everyday makeup artists. We are print makeup artists - we specialize in makeup for production (i.e. print, advertising, film, etc.) and feel that our brides should have access to production-style makeup for the most photographed day of their lives. What do you charge for hair?
We no longer offer hair services. However, we know several talented stylists to whom we can refer you.

Do you airbrush?
Not at this time. It's good stuff in the hands of a competent artist, but we very strongly prefer our brushes.

What brands do you use?
The vast majority of consumer products are not appropriate for photography, so all of the products in our kits are either specifically made for the professional makeup artist or of professional quality. Among the brands that may be familiar to you are NARS, Make Up For Ever, Giorgio Armani, and Laura Mercier, but you will probably not recognize many of the lines in our kits, as they are targeted toward professionals and not available in retail stores. We use only the best cosmetics and tools - tried and true by production makeup artists around the world - to ensure that you are camera-ready.

Will you try to sell me cosmetics and/or skincare?
No - we are not a retailer. In fact, we are terrible salespeople. ;) Our sole motivation is to provide a highly-personalized luxury experience to our bridal clients.

Do you apply false lashes?
Yes! Lashes are always complimentary for the bride. Attendants receiving services are welcome to bring false lashes - we are happy to apply them for you at no charge.

Are there additional fees?
When applicable, there are holiday and early morning fees. If you need an extra artist to work your event, there is an assistant's fee. Please contact us for specific rates.

Do you charge a travel fee?
50 miles of travel from North Austin is included in our rates. This generally covers the greater Austin area. If you have an event outside this area or would like to confirm whether or not a travel fee is applicable, please contact us.
